Recently someone asked me how I get so many pendants done in a week...it made me stop and think for a second...the only answer I had was I work A LOT! I'm a task master as my friend calls me, relentless lol. I have a goal set and I know that I want to get say 3 done a day, so that's what I do! I work a minimum of 8 hours a day, usually more. Because it's not just the painting that you have to do, but also the fusing, the packaging, the listing, etc...But the other part of it is I get obsessed lol! I love to paint. Truly I would rather paint than do anything else! Not a day goes by that I don't paint. Painting is who my soul is. So, yes, I'm a work a holic no doubt about it, but when you love the work you do, it's kind of cheating isn't it? LOL!
Here's a sneak peek at the pendants that will be listed on ebay tonight. Hope all the dads out there are having a great day! xo Michele
Hope everyone had a great weekend! I've been trying some different techniques with the pendants, adding more depth to them, which isn't easy considering their size! But I think it's important to always be improving and trying new things. Hopefully you all can see the difference! (check out ebay for more examples of pendants) Also I played around with some precious metal clay and polymer clay lately adding some accents to the pendants, just something fun and different! Contact me with any comments or questions, I love hearing from everyone! Michele
Well I've held off on the blog thing for as long as I could lol. I never was good at keeping up on even a diary as a kid! But I think this will be the easiest way for me to update my website and keep you all in the know lol. The website is going to be revamped a bit so that it showcases the fused glass pendants as well as the canvas work. I love jewelry! (okay what woman doesn't?) and the pendants allow me to combine both of my loves, painting and the jewelry part! Here are the latest fused glass pendants that will be on ebay tonight, you can see more detailed pictures here: http://stores.ebay.com/Michele-Lynch-Art I also want to say thank you to all my collectors that have been with me for years and to the new ones-You all are the best!! xo Michele
I'm like most artists, I've been creating something for as long as I can remember. I have explored many types of media and love experimenting with new things. Mixed media seems to be where my heart belongs. I can combine my love of painting, sculpting, adding found object all into one. The Steampunk Soul series evolved after I took a job with a corporation--the Soul Sucker. I hope you enjoy my artwork! xo Michele
