A huge thank you to Valerie of mistflowerphoto on etsy! Her inspiration for this treasury was Annabelle!! I thought that was sooo sweet! I was speechless! It was a wonderful surprise and I'm honored and I'm sure Annabelle is too!! Thank you Valerie!! It's a great treasury and there are some wonderful items in there, check them out if you get a chance!

On the weather front, we are having a HUGE storm moving through today through Wednesday, they are talking snow in between 6 inches to 2 feet of snow (lol I know quite a difference right?? lol) and several inches of ice possible. So everyone within this storms reach, stay warm and create something wonderful!! xo Michele

The Gatekeeper Steampunk Souls Royal Gaurd

Meet the Gatekeeper! The Gatekeeper is part of the Steampunks Souls Royal guard, or was before the evil Soul Sucker took over the castle. He's very sad he let the princess down and couldn't protect her, even if he was outnumbered. If it's the last thing he does he'll help the rebellion rescue the princess from the tower. He only hopes they will be in time.

I think he's one of my favorites! My oldest son saw him while I was still sculpting him and said, he should be a knight! Great idea! So I added the knight's helmet to him. Then my youngest son came in while I was painting him and said, you should call him the Gatekeeper. Another great idea! I love my boys!! He's 7" tall and available in my Etsy shop :o)  Have a great weekend everyone! xo Michele

Queen Bee has joined the rebellion and she's ready to kick some Soul Sucker butt! Like the song says...she's a killer queen, gunpowder and turpentine, dynamite with a laser beam, guaranteed to blow your mind...

She's 5" tall and will be available in my Etsy shop this evening :o)  xo Have a good evening everyone! xo Michele

Maggie the steampunk witch

First witch of 2011!! Meet Maggie! Little Maggie wants to grow up and be just like her Momma, casting spells for her Uncle Soul Sucker. She can't wait until she's old enough to work for the corporation! But for now she is happy to play in the halls of the castle with her blocks. This block with the W for witch is her favorite!

Maggie is 8 1/4 inches tall to the tip of her hat. I added scrapbook paper for her dress again. Not sure if it's worth the hassel lol, Several more steps involved that way. Lemme know what you guys think! I'm listing her on Ebay tonight at 8 pm central time.

I'm fighting off some kind of nasty cold, it's winning though :oP Good news is the SUN is shinning!! Hurray!! xo Michele

Annabelle- My version of cute!

Meet Annabelle! Annabelle decided she wanted to be a snow angel, so she made herself some wings out of paper. What better paper to use for angel wings than the pages of Momma's bible?! She even used her special glitter on them! She was so proud of the way they turned out. Oh wait maybe she should be a Valentine Day fairy? No worries her special wings still worked as a fairy. Only now Annabelle is a little worried, Momma has just discovered the cut out pages of her "book". Do you think Momma will love the wings as much as Annabelle?

I had a ton of fun creating Annabelle! I didn't use any steampunk parts this time and did a little cuter version than I normally do just for fun! I created her wings out of a vintage bible page, resin, and German glass glitter and copper wire. Annabelle is hand sculpted out of paper clay over an armature. Her "dress" is scrapbook paper and I added vintage lace around the bottom and the sleeves. Her bow is also vintage lace. The block is a child's alphabet block I purchased a long time ago at an antique store.

I'm going to list Annabelle on Ebay and see how that goes ;o) Let me know what you all think of her :O)) xo Michele

Meet Clair from the Steampunk Orphanage

Meet Clair, She lives at the Steampunk Souls orphanage. She wants parents so badly, but no one seems to want her. Today is parents day again, where parents will come through and meet the children. Clair has a plan. She has ripped out her steampunk heart and is going to offer it to the first set of parents through the door. Won't you adopt Clair? She promises to be a good girl!

Clair is 4 1/2" tall :o) and available in my Etsy shop today.

Oh remember that 6" I said we were gonna get?? Well it became 9, and then it snowed another 2-3 on top of that!! Here's a pic of what the patio table looks like! Sorry the picture is so dark, I couldn't get the back door open with the screen door that swings out!

Crazy right?? and then it's suppose to snow another 1-2" tomorrow night, and another 1-2" on Sunday into Monday!! These are the days I'm so thankful I don't have to risk the roads to go open a store anymore!! Everyone stay warm and dry!! xo Michele
