I'm sorry I've been so absent lately! I promise I haven't been slacking! Between finally getting over that nasty bug I had, working full time and working on another project I just haven't found the time to blog lately :o( I've missed you all! This is Isabella and she's for a secret project that I'll tell you all about later ;o) But I just thought it would be nice for everyone to see that I am working! I promise! Isabella is 11 inches tall to the top of her hair so she's a bit bigger than the other steampunk souls I've been creating :o) Hope everyone is well and being creative :o)) I'm off this weekend, so it will be a mache marathon!! xoxo
I know I'm a wee bit early to show you the peeks at my Spooky Time Jingles update, but I've got a busy week ahead of me and I want to make sure I show you all!! The update is the 13th at midnight so set your clocks! First is Elsie, a steampunk soul that is a candy container (or whatever else your heart desires to hide inside her!)She has vintage watch parts for her right eye and behind her left eye. She has a vintage watch piece on her chest and a vintage key in her back. There are two screws on her arms (they do not move). She is hand sculpted over an armature (no molds ever) out of paperclay. I hand painted her in layers, then sealed her with a matt finish. She is 5 1/4" tall x 4" wide x 3 1/2" deep. She is signed and dated on the bottom. She is 65.00 + 6.00 shipping, if you are interested just shoot me an email and I can send you an invoice. email@example.com
Next up we have Abey, the latest steampunk soul to join the rebellion against the evil soul sucker. Abey is 8" x 3 x 3". She has vintage sewing machine feet for her feet, her legs are wooden. She has a vintage typewriter key for her right eye, and a watch part behind her left eye. On her chest is a vintage watch piece, you can still see the tiny rubies! Her arms are slightly movable. In her hair is a vintage rhinestone button. Abey is hand sculpted out of paper clay over an armature (no molds ever used). She is 8" tall x 3 x 3" deep. She is signed and dated. Abey is a one of a kind collectible that would be a wonderful addition to any collection! Abey is 80.00 + 6.00 shipping (within the us, email me if you are an international buyer) if you are interested in Abey, email me and I will send you an invoice. Michelel@michelelynchart.com Thanks to everyone who left a comment about Charlie :o) and from the feedback I've seen the National Halloween Convention was fantastic! Spooky Time Jingles booth won the best booth! Well deserved for all their hard work, it looked fabulous! I'm still sick :o( Just can't seem to kick this! Hope everyone has a good week! I'll see you on the 13th for Spooky Time Jingles update! Don't forget!! xo Michele
Happy Mother's day to all you moms out there! I hope your day is filled with special people, sunshine and love!
It's been a while since I blogged! I was super busy with the National Halloween Convention artwork, which is going on this weekend by the way! Lots of really cool artwork there with Spooky Time Jingles!! Then I got sick with some kind of upper respiratory nastiness! I'm finally starting to feel a bit better! In the meantime I created Charlie, another evil steampunk soul sucker medic. I'm loving creating these guys! He's a bit bigger than normal 14 1/2" tall by 4 x 4" Lots of creepy steampunk goodness! He's available in my etsy shop today :o) Just click the word etsy and it will take you there :o) I'm working on some steampunk souls for the next Spooky Time Jingles update on the 13th!
Hope everyone has been doing well! I've missed all my blogger friends!! xo Michele
I'm like most artists, I've been creating something for as long as I can remember. I have explored many types of media and love experimenting with new things. Mixed media seems to be where my heart belongs. I can combine my love of painting, sculpting, adding found object all into one. The Steampunk Soul series evolved after I took a job with a corporation--the Soul Sucker. I hope you enjoy my artwork! xo Michele
