Millie The Nurse-New Work

Meet Millie, she doesn't know why the Evil Soul Sucker wanted to do a heart transplant on her, her old heart was just fine. Since the new black one, Millie doesn't have nice thoughts. She's 10 1/4" tall. Lots of vintage pieces on her including a several watch pieces, a rhinestone button and a black bird scatter pin. Her arm is some kind of found thing-a-ma-bob I have no idea what it really is. Hope everyone is having a good weekend! xo Michele

The Dam Has Busted

It is so great to be free to art again, I can't even tell you all how wonderful it feels. A whole year imprisoned by the soul suckers! I've been art-ing like a mad woman, all that creativity that built up has burst free! All of these pendants are available on ebay, and many more. Remember the story I started a while back about the soul suckers? I've been working on those characters and they will make their debut soon...

A Flower and a Swan...

Hope everyone has had a great week! It's been a little crazy around here, the last thing to go was the water heater this morning! Sheesh! I've created 2 more whimsical steampunk characters that will be available on ebay tonight. The first is a Swan Queen, one of those that looks much better in person! Then the flower pin/pendant, I made myself one similar and love her! I wear her to work on the lapel of my jackets almost everyday. She goes with everything and since she can be worn as a pendant or a pin she's even more versitile! Enjoy!

I'm Back!!

I'm sorry I have been gone for so long! I had surgery, then took a full time job managing a furniture store because they came to me and made me an offer that was hard to refuse! But I have missed my artwork tremendously and so I've decided to add pieces to ebay here and there and maybe a few galleries. Fortune Teller

I love love this fortune teller pendant! Must be the favorite one I've done so far! I've been seeing a lot of gypsy caravan type of stuff lately and this little lady has been in my head for some time. I think she came out perfect! I hand sculpted and painted the crystal ball base and her head wrap. The crystal ball is glass I fused with tiny silver stars in it. She's available on ebay tonight at 8 pm. xo Michele

New Work

Just wanted to drop in and say, I'm still alive ;o) had oral surgery on Friday, and lived to tell about it. Not fun. Not fun at all. The bummer part is evidentally my heart rate, while asleep was at 160. Yikes! So that of course means I get to visit yet another doctor. sigh. Passing 40 is hell. Anyway, I'm trying not to take the vicadin lol so that I could be coherent enough to list a few things and check in with you all! But if you don't hear from me for a couple of days, at least you know what's going on! I'll leave you all with the newest eye candy ;o) All is available and on ebay! xo Michele

Another Dragon and Angel!

Okay so since the other dragon sold within minutes of me putting her on ebay and the popularity of her, I made another one ;o) Love how this one came out too!! Hmmm...maybe I should just do a series of them! Here she is, same coloring as the other one but a different pose and different eye color ;o) Available on ebay tonight at 8 pm cental time:Then something a little different. Instead of my regular fused glass painted face, I used a vintage photograph under a clear domed cab, set in a silver tone bezzel. I have a large collection of vintage photographs so this gives me a chance to use them! Let me know what you all think about the 2 different styles and no worries I'm not stopping the painted ones ;o)
I'm off to cook dinner and then boy scouts is tonight. Oh and guess what...it's raining. I'm thinking I should finish the ark I started building in the spring. Have a great night everyone! xo Michele

Love love this new dragon (Luthien I thought of you when I made it. I've had Eragon sitting on my nightstand to read for a while now lol...I'm still chewing through vamp books though!) Also new is this adorable angel. I've had these spoons sitting on my worktable for a while now and finally cut the handle and bent it to make a bail. Much easier than I though it would be! Love how sweet she came out too! Also available on ebay tonight.

No Longer MIA

and then I finally got my Sugar Skull Day of the Dead piece done! Wooo Hooo! I made a locket ring so that you can put the picture of your loved one inside. My mom died when I was a teenager and I love the Day Of the Dead holiday, how wonderful to honor the spirits of the loved ones that have passed over. Here's some pictures of the ring:
