Glass Slide Pendants

Okay here's one of the things that I've been working on that I said there was a learning curve to! They are glass pendants that have been cut and then kiln fired so the the edges rounded, I put a print of my artwork on the back of them, painted and sealed the back. Fun! I like these alot better than the domino pendants...so if you liked those you will love these! I put them in my ebay store already...actually one of them sold before I could post this! I'm still working on some painted fused glass pendants and some other mixed media goodies! xo Michele

5 day fused pendant auctions

I'm listing two pendants on ebay tonight, for the 5 day auctions :o) Hope you like them! I have several more that I'll list tomorrow for 5 day auctions also! Just found out my son is moving back home...so it'll be time to move the studio again! Most of you probably remember that I took over his old room when he moved out...so I'm back to the smaller of the spare bedrooms. It's okay though, I love the idea of him being back home...now would everyone say a prayer that I can get him into college??? sheesh! xo Michele

The Monster Within

Sorry I've been a little more absent than normal. After all the birthdays and such, I decided to quit smoking (again!) so it's hard for me to sit still for very long so I haven't gotten much art or computer stuff done! Out Of Reach

Doesn't it seem sometimes that whatever it is your heart desires that it's always just out of reach? You can see it but just not touch it? That's what this painting is about. Acrylic on 12 x 24" wood with 1/2" sides that are painted black. She goes on ebay tonight at 9 pm central (7 pm pacific time). Let me know what you all think xo Michele

The Corset

5 day ebay auction! I decided to go ahead and list this one for 5 days so that it will end next week. The curtains are paper and ribbon, she's painted in acrylic on a 12 x 12" piece of wood, sides are painted black, I added copies of vintage corset ads to the background. Forgotten

Hope everyone had a great weekend!! We spent the day at a family members and it was nice to get to see everyone and eat and eat and eat LOL. Somehow I managed to get this painting done in between everything ;o)) Mixed media...acrylic, paper, charcoal on wooden oval that's 11 x 14. Titled "Forgotten". You can find her on ebay tonight at 8 pm central time (I really debated with myself over this one...ebay vs. etsy? I'm not sure there's as big of the surreal, lowbrow type of buyers on ebay as there is on etsy. Etsy can seem edgier than ebay at times.) xo Michele

Holding The Pieces Together Video

Wooo Hooo! Got the painting done, the video done and she's ready to list on Sunday Jan 18th on ebay. (I can't believe it's already the 17th where did January go?!)I had been asked to do Alice In Wonderland as a Steampunk Painting. Well the month of November and December I guess took their toll on me LOL because what I came up with is how I was feeling...trying to "Hold The Pieces Together" which is the title of the painting. I'm sure I will continue the Alice theme with more Steampunk. Hope you all enjoy the video! xo Michele

Painting

I've been working on a new painting, it's 12 x 20" on an oval piece of wood. The plan is to add some steampunk gears to her! Her hair isn't done in this picture only basecoated in, but here's a sneak peek anyway ;o) and this is just a close up of her face, there's more....I'm hoping to have her done and listed by Sunday, we'll see how that goes.
