Intentions, Tornados, and Anniversaries OH MY

I was going to post my intentions (instead of resolutions) for 2011 this morning, but you know the they say the road to hell is paved with good intentions. So that said...my biggest intention for 2011 is to stay away from the Soul Sucker and make a living again with my artwork :o)

Terrible weather tore through Missouri this morning and afternoon. It was so weird that it was actually warm. The tornado sirens started going off and my first thought was, is it a test?? Uh no. Nothing like a tornado to end the year. This video shows Sunset Hills which is about 30 minutes from me. Luckily we are all fine, no damage. The tornados seemed to skip right over us.



My heart goes out to the families that lost their homes.

I also want to say Happy Anniversary to my husband :o) For those of you who don't know the story, we were married 19 years, divorced for 1 year and remarried 5 years ago today :o) So this is either our 24th anniversary or our 5 year anniversary, you choose ;o) Happy Anniversary honey, you are truly my soul mate.
Sorry it's a picture from last summer but they are rushing me that dinner is ready!!

Izzy, Lizzy and Shop of the Week!

Here is Izzy and Lizzy, they weren't conjoined twins at birth, the Soul Sucker has made them this way and Izzy is scared to death. Her sister Lizzy has always frightened her and now she can't get away from her for even a minute!

Izzy and Lizzy are approx 4 3/4" high. They are available in my etsy shop tonight :o)

Steampunk Art Doll Billy

The rebellion is growing! Some of the Steampunk Souls say that Billy went crazy in the Soul Suckers prison and now he thinks he really is a bird. Billy hears what they say about him, but he knows he can fly thanks to the Soul Suckers doctors, if only someone would wind up his key. Anyone want to help a guy out?

Billy is approx. 5 1/2" tall and about 4" in depth, he's 3 1/2" wide. His beak is removable His legs are some kind of bolt things I found in hubbys tool box. Let's hope then weren't important ;o) He is available tonight in my Etsy shop.

Snow! & T'was The Nightmare Before Christmas

Woo Hooo I woke up this morning to SNOW!! It doesn't happen to often that it snows on Christmas eve and Christmas so it seems even more magical! We're suppose to get snow all day and into tomorrow. Everyone in the house seems so excited, even Jack our dog, is thrilled about the snow. As our home is filled with the smell of carrot cake in the oven, and the joy of being together as a family warms our hearts (okay so the fireplace helps lol), I hope each and everyone of you have a wonderful holiday full of magic and wonder.

Steampunk Art Doll John

Meet John, he's the most recent to join the Steampunk Soul rebellion. John was a prisoner of the Soul Sucker (and a personal favorite of his) for over a year. John's steampunk soul nearly withered away, but John was determined to survive. The Soul Sucker held betting races and made John participate because he knew John would win. During one of these races John just kept racing, past the finish line, past the gaurds, towards freedom from the Soul Sucker. The Soul Sucker made a terrifying screech when he realized what John was doing and flew out towards him. John raced his wheels faster than they had ever gone before, praying he could reach the edge of the Castle of Corporation. He could hear the Shoulds and Regrets pounding the earth behind him, and just when he thought the Soul Sucker would swoop down and snatch him, he reached the edge of the woods, vanishing deep in their shadows until the rebellion found him.

John is one of my favorites so far! Love his aviator hat and little goggles! He is 4 1/2" tall and is sculpted from paperclay, and vintage watch parts. Hope everyone is enjoying the Steampunk Souls stories :o) If anyone is wondering why Michael isn't in the group shot, he's been adopted and is on his way to his new home :o)) John will be available this evening in my ETSY shop.

Meet Olivia:
She doesn't talk about her time with the Soul Sucker, in fact she doesn't say much at all. Olivia and her pet fly have a special bond and he is always by her side. The other Steampunk Souls know that Olivia's sweet looks are a deception, given the opportunity, she'll have the Soul Sucker's head in her pail.
