Hope everyone had a great weekend! Ours was full, as always! My youngest son's bestfriend's dad came home after being gone 9 months with the reserves by Iraq, so there was a huge homecoming for him :o) He was amazed at how much he says we all have changed in that time, especially his youngest boy. He worked with military people from all different countries and was talking about their perception of Americans, and no we're not all like the people in the movies LOL. But interestingly he said that's what most expected. I thought the internet has shrunk perceptions that people have of other countries but perhaps we still have a ways to go ;o) The angel I have for auction tonight on ebay is on a 8 x 10" canvas panel that I framed in a vintage wood frame. The frame its self is 10 3/4 x 12 7/8" a very pretty antique gold color that sets off the angel nicely! I used assorted paints & papers to create her. Oh and even some stitching on her dress. Her wings are from a vintage french text book. She'll be on ebay tonight at 8 pm central time. Let me know what you all think!xo Michele
