Ghost Girl

Don't know what's happened to me, but I sure have slowed down lately! It was that birthday that did it I think lol. I finally finished this little ghostie girl. She's 10" long and hangs on the wall.
She's available in my Etsy shop. To visit my Etsy Shop Click Here
Hope everyone is having a great week so far! It's gorgeous outside here today!! Hurray!! Spring is on her way!! xo Michele

I know as you get older it takes longer to recover from a night on the booze, but I think you are dragging it out a bit now lol ;)

Ghost girl is lovely, all your work is fabulous!!

Spring? whats that then, it's been cold and frosty here :(
I feel like i've been stuck in winter forever!!
I will dance amongst the daffodils when spring finally arrives ;)

Oh my gosh that little piece of hair is killing me! It's so cute!

How long do you usually take to make pieces Michele? I haven't gotten time down very well. It seems I think about stuff FOREVER and then finally spit it out in a little manic ferver.

Thanks Amber and Tina! It depends on the piece Tina, sometimes I do exactly what you are talking about, think about it, think about it some more, sketch it, and then all of a sudden I get it all sculpted quickly. Sometimes which was the case with George the boy with the dynamite, I get them half way done and then I stall because I'm arguing with the piece about what's going to happen lol. I try to sketch them all out before beginning so that I have a full idea of where I'm going, it makes my life much easier. Ghost girl was sculpted on Sunday, but things kept getting in the way so she was left naked ;o) Until I could finish her today. I have a hanging witch that's finished too that I should have on Etsy tomorrow I'm hoping if all goes well! xo Michele

I certainly have learned about those arguments! I don't know how many times I've had to change something completely because the doll wasn't happy. My girls have strong personalities!

I'm only hoping that with time and experience I will become a little bit quicker executing some of my ideas. I appreciate hearing your process and knowing that I'm a little bit on the right track :)

My birthday must have slowed me down as well.....I feel like I haven't gotten anything done lately.

Ghost girl is so beautiful! I love the way you change things up. It's always a treat to see what you will create next:)

Have a wonderful week and enjoy the nice weather!

Thank you Barbara!

You'll get faster Tina! I always feel like I have a million things to do and 50% of it is creating and then 50% is more the time spent listing, promoting, designing etc...there are always so many things to do and sculpting things takes longer to me than anything else does.

Thank you Dawn! Yeah I know what you mean, what is it about birthdays that do that to us?? LOL I'm always trying to stretch my boundaries on what I do and how I do it. I like the challenge ;O)

Hey girl, just got back from 5 days in Austin, TX visiting my daughter and grandsons. Am experiencing jet lag due to having to deal with this friggin' time change and crossing 2 time zones...I hate this!! When the time changed, I was in Austin, CST, then I returned home to El Paso, MST...oey vey, my brain doesn't know whether it's coming or gone!!! LOL

Love that little dolly...she's adorable, but all your stuff is wonderful!! Have a great weekend and do some misbehavin'!!

xxoo,
Georgina
