Skelly Claus! STJ update

Skelly Claus is coming to town!! So you'd better not pout, you'd better not cry...

He's 9" x 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" sculpted out of paper clay, over an armature. Vintage watch part is the clasp for his robe, and the top of his walking stick. A vintage typewriter key makes up his right eye. Two metal screws are on either side of his jaw.

There is flocking on the white fur of his robe, giving it a fuzzy appearance. Available on Spooky Time Jingles update at Midnight on the 12th. Or email me ;o) michelel@michelelynchart.com $100 plus 6.00 shipping in the US. xo Michele

Meet Sister Agnes New work!

Meet Steampunk Soul Sister Agnes. She doesn't understand why the inky black stuff keeps spilling out of her mouth, then again, nothing has been the same since the Evil Soul Sucker came to Creativity.
Sister Agnes is 9 1/2" tall x 4" x 3" deep. She has vintage watch parts for her right eye, and another vintage piece under her left. There is also a vintage watch part on her chest, with a vintage rosary piece and watch gear. At her waist hangs vintage rosary beads and a beautiful vintage cross. She is hand sculpted over an armature (no molds ever) out of polymer clay. Her left arm is some kind of metal found object with a piece of a wooden ruler. I hand painted her in layers with oil paints.
Hope everyone is doing well. I know I promised to be a better blogger, but I've been super busy. STJ Soiree went very well for me, even though I couldn't be there in person. Five of my pieces will be in Art Doll Quarterly in the Winter issue, which hits the stands on November 1 :o) I've seen the sneak peek and it looks fabulous! The dolls are on a red background, now why didn't I ever think of that? I'm also working on some pieces for a gallery :o) So lots going on, I promise I haven't been slacking! The nun however is available in my etsy shop! http://www.etsy.com/listing/82730823/steampunk-souls-mixed-media-art-doll
Back to work I go...more later on the magazine and gallery...xo Michele

No more peeks, here's the full montey! We have Liz a steampunk soul ornament with fake lashes, painted on hair and of course vintage watch parts! Poor Dan has been silenced with metal threads on his mouth, and vintage watch parts.

2 Grim reaper ornaments and what Halloween tree would be complete without a Pumpkin King, or....
Krampus! I personally think he looks better in person than in this photo. But I couldn't seem to get a good pic of him! All the ornaments are available tonight at midnight on Spooky Time Jingles or you can email me at michelel@michelelynchart.com

More fun things in the works! Have a great weekend everyone and I hope to see you tonight at Spooky Time Jingles! xo Michele

This little witch has turned herself into an owl and has landed on the moon, who doesn't look too happy about it might I add LOL. She's the owl I promised for ebay: michelelynchdesigns tomorrow (Sunday). She'll be available at 9 pm central time. Oh and don't forget the conjoined pumpkin twins end at the same time!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! I'm off to cut the grass, spring has now officially started lol! xo Michele

WIP Veggie People

Thought you all might like to see the veggie peeps in progress ;o) They're all sculpted and waiting to be painted, hopefully this weekend, and then I'll take a pic of them done :o) I have to laugh because the one with the radish head right now being all white looks almost like a tele tubby to me LOL!!

Someone asked me if I had done any steampunk crows? Yes! I actually have one slotted for Spooky Time Jingles update on the 13th! I'll have pictures of him around the 10th or so, so that you all can preview what's on my part of the site before it updates.

Hope everyone has a fan-tab-u-lous weekend! I'll be working away ;o) So much to do, so little time....xo Michele

No Bones About It

Meet the flying skelly guy ;o) I had some challenges creating this one, but in the end I think he worked out! He's 9 1/2" tall x 7" x 3". He has screws at his jaws, a vintage enameled watch face, tiny skelly charm, 2 swarovski crystal elements on his hat and a found metal curly thingy :o) I'm putting him in on ebay for Thursday night at 8 pm central time :o) He's a Halloween party-er if I ever saw one ;o)

I still have three more pieces that are sculpted and ready to paint ;o) I keep saying I'm going to take a day off and enjoy this weather, but I haven't! Today is the last day, before we dip back down to our normal 40-50's so I'm off to enjoy! xo Michele

When I said in the last post that I was off to get my hands in some clay, I wasn't kidding! I have 5 new pieces sculpted! I got this one painted and wanted to show him to you all :o) Lots of time went into painting him :o) I think he came out pretty cute! He's 8" x 7" x 3". There's stars on his back too
I'm putting him on Ebay Wednesday night at 6 pm central time. I've decided to get over my break up with ebay and sell some pieces on there again lol. My ebay id is michelelynchdesigns, there's also a link in the side bar of my blog ;o) Hopefully our love/hate affair will be better after our break up ;o)

More pieces coming this week ;o)

Hope everyone had a great weekend, we have had some really gorgeous weather here lately, in the 80's!! I hear we are dropping back into the 40's though :oP xo Michele
