I'm not sure what happened to Monday. I think it skipped me.Or I guess it could have been the post its. Either way, I never saw it.

I did however manage to get a few things done! I've been very productive here in my little dungeon..er...studio. I managed to get a new steampunk scarecrow done which you can wear as a pin or a necklace! Love her! She will be on ebay tonight And then I finally got a few fused glass pendants done! I listed both on ebay already today, with a buy it now feature. Actually even the scarecrow has a buy it now feature. As a buyer I always look for that. It's not because I don't want to duke it out with another ebayer and possibly get a great deal. It's because, I'm impatient. Pure and simple. Why wait a week when I can get it today? I mean when they come out with the transporter that hooks to your computer so that as soon as I buy something on ebay ZAP it transports into my house, I will be a happy camper. Just don't buy anything really really big


Okay I think I got off topic a bit here...so the fused glass pendants...

Candy corn moon. I love the artglass that I fused into the pendant as the moon. Looks like candy corn to me! I also added a few swarovski crystals for the twinkling stars :o)
Then this little soulful looking gypsy, her crystal ball is dichroic glass that has tiny silver stars in it...hard to see from this picture I think. Glass is the hardest thing to photograph!

I also have a Halloween queeny witch, but a girl can't show it all at once! I'll post her tomorrow. Have a great night everyone! xo Michele

Well we've made it through 2 days of middle school now unscathed! But we did forget the trombone at school today. Oh well, it's a little thing ;o) Hope everyone else's little ones are having great first days at school also!!

Tonight I have two new steampunk diva's to go on ebay. One I'm putting as a buy it now and that's the little angel. Her skirt is made up of a what I believe is real turquoise. It was an earring. I just love her!

The second is another ring. I'm having so much fun with these rings! This one reminds me of those little Japanese Dolls that you see everywhere now a days.

She is up for the regular 7 day auction and of course the auction still starts at the very low price of 19.00! Hope everyone has a great night! The days are getting shorter. I can feel summer coming to an end. BLAH! xo Michele

Monday!

Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! For ONCE I didn't work all weekend! On Sunday I packed everyone up and headed to the pool where we either swam or did absolutely nothing! Ah, pure bliss! I think the pool might have to become a Sunday tradition! Today was my youngest last day of elementary school. wow. That is a hard one for me to grasp lol. He'll be a middle schooler next year but now they are back to the bottom of hierarchy at school lol.
I have two things for ebay tonight, a gypsy pendant that not only has the little glass face that I paint but it also has a piece of silver dichroic glass that I fused! She's really cool!

Then I also made a queen ring, which has been in my head for a bit and just hadn't taken the time to make her. I LOVE how she came out!!

With the kids out of school it will feel like the official beginning of summer!! Oh and thanks to everyone for their well wishes! I feel a tiny bit better...okay I'm stretching it LOL I still feel crappy! Have a great night everyone! xo Michele

Fused Glass Pendants

I'm running way behind tonight, it's almost 7 pm and I still don't have dinner done! I had to help out a neighbor though...so anyway...I'm not going to say alot about the pendants for tonight ;o) 2 new handpainted fused glass pendants! and another mixed media found art..art doll assemblage... steampunk...whatever you want to call them! I love her, her name is Quirky Mrytle and if you look she has one brown eye and one blue eye ;o) She was lots of fun to make...more about her in the ebay description. Angel, Witch & Goth Girl, Oh My!

3 more fused glass pendants!! See I kept good on that promise to list more!! There's a spring time witch, an angel, and a goth girl so something for everyone! All will be on ebay tonight at 8 pm central time :o) For those of you that don't know, I cut and fuse several layers of glass together in my kiln, then after they cool down, I draw the design and hand paint them with glass paint. They then have to cure for 24 hours before being low fired again. The glass paints once fired are scratch resistant :o) Hope everyone is having a good week! Tuesday ;o)

I'm not sure where time goes? well not entirely true, I do, I'm always working on jewelry or paintings and don't take the time to post here! I also joined the gym and so the time that I might be on the computer is now spent there! I've listed a few pieces of steampunk on ebay, and also a few on etsy! I'm trying etsy out again, I'll switch them over to ebay if they don't sell this week. Etsy seems to take patience and that is not one of my virtues lol! Tonight on ebay I'm listing a geisha girl!
