Fused Pendants

Hope everyone had a good weekend! I survived, barely lol. But wooo hooo all the birthdays have ended and life can get back to normal, whatever that is! I managed to paint a couple fused glass pendants in between the partying!The first one is as close to the painting Forgotten as I could get! Since everyone seemed to love her, I thought someone might like her as a pendant! She will be on ebay at 8 pm central time.

The second pendant is my entry into the Nibblefest contest, a themed art contest beginning on the 20th of each month. Every entry starts at just .99!! The theme this month was favorite childhood story..well I'm sure you guessed mine already! Alice in Wonderland! I decided to do Alice at the Tea Party...I wish I could have included the rabbit, the mouse, and mad hatter but the pendants are just too small we would all need a magnifying glass to be able to see all of them! This one doesn't start on ebay until 9 pm central time (7pm pacific time) because of the contest rules. The voting goes by the number of individual bidders on a piece.

Steampunk-ness!

More steampunk-ness coming to my ebay page tonight! Not sure how I got this little divas done with all the birthday celebrations!! But here they are!! They will be on ebay tonight at 8 pm central time.

I also want to thank K for the wonderful award!! It's a wonderful thing to inspire someone! It's difficult when you get into a funk and can't seem to get the mojo flowing! I try to get out when that happens, go to a store or museum or garden that always makes me feel good. Usually it's that our muse needs a break, and she returns with all kinds of things when she's good and ready LOL. I know that doesn't help the funk feeling when you're in the middle of it, but remember you are creative so it will return! Also you can try just painting the background of a painting, tell yourself that's all you are going to do and sometimes that's enough to wake Miss Muse up!

5 day auctions!

Since I'll probably be really busy again this next week I figured I would go ahead and list these 3 pendants as 5 day auctions. I really love the look of these three!They will be on ebay tonight at 8 pm central time. I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter!! We are going to family's house and it's always lots of people, lots of food, lots of fun! and it looks like the good old Missouri weather just might cooperate for once and we will be dry in the morning!! Glass Pendants!!

Wooo Hoooo!!! I finally got some new glass pendants painted!! All 3 of them go on ebay tonight at 8 pm central time. I was trying to get some steampunk listed also but ran out of time. I'll see if I can't get some up there tomorrow or so. Hope everyone is having a good week! Things are going to get crazy for me again, I have my husbands birthday on the 7th then Easter on the 12th, then my oldest son's birthday on the 17th and guess how old he will be??? 21!!!! I so can't believe it!! But it will be fun! We're going to take him out for a night on the town ;o) xo Michele

New Pendants!

Hope everyone had a good holiday season! I didn't realize it had been so long again since I had posted. Just too much to do and too little time! We had a wonderful Christmas with my family, nice and relaxing, full of conversation and food! Doesn't get any better than that! My oldest son and his girlfriend came over on Christmas day and we had more of the same :o) Then new years eve is my husband and my anniversary so that's always fun, because there is a party wherever you go that night! Hubby and my youngest were also on vacation until yesterday so having everyone at home was a nice treat! We caught up on a lot of movies and just generally hung out! and now I guess the party is over, and it's time to get back into the swing of things...so I listed 2 new glass pendants for ebay tonight and some steampunk! Croquet Alice

More Alice!! Wooo Hooo! Okay, you're right I'm having a blast painting Alice again. I've been working from early in the morning to late at night straight through trying to get my ebay store filled with goodies! There are lots of fused glass pendants and tons of steampunk to be had, and I added domino pendants for those inexpensive last minute gifts! There is still plenty of time for me to mail since I use priority mail. Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season! I still haven't put up my tree yet lol! It's like this every year for me since November and December are the busiest time of the year. But I am done shopping! Woo Hooo!!

Alice In Wonderland

Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend! I ate and shopped until I dropped ;o) I think I'm finally done with all the Christmas shopping! I've been very much in the Alice mood lately! I have two new Alice In Wonderland glass pendants listed on ebay! http://stores.ebay.com/Michele-Lynch-Art also a Christmas witch and gypsy, and a geisha! More steampunk divas have also been added. I've had some requests lately for some more street type scenes and some more domino pendants. Tuesday ;o)

I'm not sure where time goes? well not entirely true, I do, I'm always working on jewelry or paintings and don't take the time to post here! I also joined the gym and so the time that I might be on the computer is now spent there! I've listed a few pieces of steampunk on ebay, and also a few on etsy! I'm trying etsy out again, I'll switch them over to ebay if they don't sell this week. Etsy seems to take patience and that is not one of my virtues lol! Tonight on ebay I'm listing a geisha girl! Etsy Update!

Oops! I totally forgot that yesterday was Monday! Hope you all had a wonderful 3 day weekend! I spent it working around here. We finally got the kitchen painted! So now except for new lighting and painting the ceiling it's done!! Wooo Hoooo! We also spent the weekend shoveling 10 cubic yards of dirt to fill a hole where we took out a pool. I hurt in spots that I didn't know could hurt! The other thing I got done was to update my etsy shop!! FINALLY!!! Let's here another Wooo Hooo!!! So if you get a chance take a peek:

I can't stay in one medium and I have to say I've finally decided to listen to my heart and create what I need to create and not try to follow some silly rules. So I will be listing more paper mache again soon. I created Flower Fran in 2004 and she has lived with me ever since, she is the only piece I ever kept and she makes me smile every day! But I've decided it's time for her to share her grin with someone new, so I listed her on etsy. Hope someone will give her a new home with lots of love! New fused glass pendants will be listed tomorrow in my ebay store. Wooo hoooo!!!

Catch Up

Okay I'm going to try to play catch up here! Things slowed down for me for a bit because first I got sick with pneumonia and then pleurisy--not a fun time there! But what happened was they saw some "nodules" as they call them on my xrays so now I've spent since the end of June having more xrays, a cat scan and now next week a Pet scan. I'm still thinking it's nothing but it's enough to scare me into not smoking! So now I've become the doughnut queen. Hmmm...we'll have to have a discussion about favorite doughnuts LOL!

So anyway, then I left to go on vacation at the end of July until this past weekend. We were in Panama City Florida this year which was nice, I do have to confess that Destin is still my favorite though. The picture of the hammerhead shark was taken from the 6th floor balcony of the condo we rented for the time we were there...I thought it was a kids floatie for a minute LOL! Uh nope, that's the real deal...right up by the shore! The other pics are of my husband and me and then one of my kids. It looks like Zach the younger one is crying in the picture, lol, but he's actually just laughing that hard!

I listed a couple of pendants on ebay yesterday, and there are several more that I'll be listing tonight. I also have several paintings that will be listed here soon! Woo Hooo I'm back on a roll! Email anytime, you know I love hearing from you all! xo Michele
