- I have been creating art for as long as I can remember in some form or another. One of the first pieces of jewelry that I remember creating are dandelion necklaces, bracelets and anklets! Clover flowers worked wonderful for this to! At some point I moved into sculpting and painting. Painting became my main focus for many many years and I was constantly looking for new material to paint on. I painted ceramic jewelry and dinnerware for a very long time, doing shows across the country. Finally I saw painted glass in a small shop and was happy that there would be less steps involved...the monotonous steps that I didn't like! So I moved into glass and discovered a wonderful group of glass artists here on ebay. From there my love of mixed media art combined with my love of jewelry finally led me to the type of jewelry that I create now. I call it steampunk, though it really is not quite under that term. It's more a mixed media, altered art type of artwork.
